Multistage deep-well submersible pumps

The SJ series pump is made of stainless steel designed for pumping in stationary conditions of clean water and other liquids that are not aggressive to the flow path material. The SJ pump can be submerged to a certain depth and can act as a traditional long shaft pump for deep wells. The electric units of the SJ series are manufactured using technologies proven by experience and time and modern high-tech solutions.

Features and advantages

The flow part of the pump consists of sections (impeller and diffuser), which are pulled together with special tightening bands into a common structure column. The discharge branch pipe is threaded, and located in the upper part of the body. A check valve is installed in front of it, preventing the backflow of water and the rotation of the impellers and the engine rotor in case of a sudden shutdown. Suction is carried out through a filter, which is a perforated sheet of stainless steel and is located at the junction of the electric motor and the pump. The cable is fixed from the outside to the pump body using a special tie.

SJ electric pump units can be used with protective cooling jackets. The advantage of such use is that the electric motor receives the necessary cooling regardless of the borehole diameter, and also allows the unit to be used in a horizontal installation version.

Working conditions

The conditions under which SJ pump unit can be operated are described below:

•  Maximum working pressure: 38 bar
•  Maximum liquid temperature: 25°C
•  Hydrochloric acid content: not more than 1.5 mg/l
•  Chlorine contect: not more than 400 mg/l
•  Liquid acidity range: pH 6.5 ~ 8.5
•  Maximum diving depth: 70 m

The sand particles content should be no more than 50g/m³ when pumping water. This is necessary to cool the motor and keep the flow area unblocked, which will allow the pump to work longer.

When pumping liquids with a density and/or viscosity higher than water, it is necessary to use motors with a power reserve.
